Hello To All President Clinton Supporters!

Updates, Updates, Updates!

For those of you in California, with regard to the president coming to LA this weekend. I have not been able to confirm through news sources, the president stopping near LA other than to visit his daughter briefly at Stanford. After this the president will travel down to San Diego for a fund raiser at a private home in a very conservative part of town. A reporter kindly informed me, without being asked, that the tickets are sold out, and have been. Apparently my voice sounds richer than I am, with tickets going for $10,000 a couple.

I am currently checking out information on a rally in Newport Beach, CA next weekend, October 2. I will E-mail all of you once I can locate the information on a web page.

Many of you have E-mailed me saying that you will not be able to make it to the rally in Washington on the 17th of October. Some have said that they would like to be able to participate in something local. For any of you who would like to start a rally in your community, please E-mail me with the information and I will send it to all of our members. I do believe that rallies across the country would be very effective. There are many people who do not have the time or resources to travel to Washington. Just don't forget to contact your local television, radio stations, and newspapers to get the word out and possibly increase your attendance!

I have received MANY e-mails regarding the color of the ribbons that I suggested to you all in a previous update. Apparently the color blue is being used to represent the individuals who are "ANTI-Clinton." Obviously we cannot use this color! I have also been told that other groups supporting President Clinton are using red ribbons to represent the anger they feel and the love for their country. While I understand their statement in doing this, the red ribbon is known internationally to represent the fight against AIDS and those who have lost their lives to this virus. Possibly using a color that is less well known for any particular fight would make our statement clearer. Another member suggested yellow ribbons, with a rather sentimental meaning. A song about a man coming back from prison who writes to find out if his girl would take him back and to let him know by tying a yellow ribbon around an old oak tree. This member thought that we could let the president and everyone else know that we take him back, forgive him of his wrongs, support him completely as our president, by using yellow ribbons on ourselves, around our trees or any other objects that will stand still. Please let me know what you think! Enough positive response this weekend will put the gears in motion for this idea, and I will begin looking for ways to mass mail yellow ribbons. Please send your comments to me with the subject "Yellow Ribbons." Equally, enough negative response will nix the idea.

We will be working on the web page this weekend. Some have E-mailed me concerning it's accessibility. We have been working on different methods and still different pages. Please check back periodically over the weekend to see the new additions.

Since I cannot include links to the articles in my mail, and cannot possibly send you all of the articles I have been receiving individually, I will be including the text on a link in the web page. Some of the latest news, Mike McCury said Thursday in a news conference that Portuguese government has decided they will NOT report any further information regarding President Clinton's sex life! If only that would happen in our country!

Many of you have been receiving a quote reportedly from Ken Starr, made on 60 minutes many years ago. Today I received an E-mail saying the quote was just an Internet hoax. Does anyone out there have solid information that this quote is either true or false?

As predicted by many, the numbers of President Clinton's supporters are growing after the release of the video taped testimony. Finally our government is listening to the people by insisting this entire investigation and persecution end. At least most of our Democratic officials are listening. Our point is getting out and it is due to the hard work all of you have put into our cause! Keep up the wonderful work!
