Nice list. May I use? Did you read my posting of the a.m.?

There are 22 days (and counting) until election day.

Remember the list:

1.) Get your list of Democratic (and right thinking Republicans) voters together.

2.) Write your short letters - giving them reasons to vote. Remember, you've heard the "talking heads" on the Cable networks. They say the Democratic (and right thinking Republicans) voters "will not vote". PROVE THEM WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!

3.) Have your local print shop print your own "political fact sheets". Mail and distribute up to election day.

4.) An article in a New York newspaper, quoted the author, "I like Pataki and his performance, but I am so discussed (with the Republican sexual witch hunt, that I am voting a straight "Democratic" line to "register" my disgust!"

5.) Your suggestions for day 21 on...........................? **************************************************************************** "Send the Republicans packing>>>>>>>>>"

Please Mr. Hyde, we are all adults and can be exposed to bad language. Let's release ALL the Tripp/Lewinsky tapes (bleep out the proper names by all means) but give us the full FLAVOR of what was said by these two young ladies. (It's now MORE than two weeks).

You did seem to have NO problem releasing the President's VIDEO. Where are the girl's AUDIOS?

By the way don't forget the NY Times story Oct.4, 1998-Front Page "Starr Said to Have Received Tip on Affair Before Call by Tripp/ Information Came From Lawyer With Ties to Jones Legal Team" WORTH READING (www.nytimes.com)

Also, will Ken Starr be the 1st witness to be called the day after election day? And, will the 2nd be the person behind the scenes - You know who we mean MR. Hyde/Starr.

I had some interesting replies to a posting I had made that the Dow in the chaos that would be created by Starr/Gingrich/Hyde/Lott et. al's. DC "sexual witch hunt" could seriously impact the Dow Jones Industrial Average and more so the secondaries. Here's one of the more "temperate" ones:

(Sounds like a RRRR (Right wing conspirist!):

What has Clinton done in regard to the DOW? Thank Pres. Reagan and those like-minded for the end of the cold war, and thank the GOP congress for eliminating foolish spending and reforming Welfare! (Dan)

Well Dan, let's look at the record. Maybe we can get to the truth (As judge Starr would say):

DOW JONES Industrial AVERAGE Prices Available: 01/03/78 through 00/00/00 Ticker: $INDU Date High/Ask Low/Bid Close -------- ---------- ---------- ---------- 01/30/81 1013.14 930.89 947.27 Reagan........... 01/29/82 887.37 832.57 871.10 That 1st year was especially good!!! 01/31/83 1105.13 1013.43 1075.70 01/31/84 1295.44 1209.59 1220.58 01/31/85 1305.10 1178.67 1286.77 Reagan II..(Wow big year) 01/31/86 1582.91 1491.74 1570.99 01/30/87 2193.33 1897.36 2158.04 01/29/88 2075.59 1845.98 1958.22 1,013. to 2,350 = about 130% for the Great Reagan years (8 of them) Do you really remember those wonderful 80s? And weren't those the years of the "BIG DEFICITS"? ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 01/31/89 2350.18 2127.14 2342.32 Bush ............ 01/31/90 2834.00 2513.10 2590.50 01/31/91 2747.30 2447.00 2736.40 01/31/92 3313.50 3119.90 3223.40 2,075. to 3,338 = about 65% for those wonderful Bush years. Let's give a big cheer!!! --------------------------------------------------------------------------- 01/29/93 3338.10 3219.30 3310.00 Clinton I......... 01/31/94 4002.80 3715.20 3978.40 01/31/95 3955.56 3794.40 3843.86 01/31/96 5433.24 5000.07 5394.94 01/31/97 6953.55 6318.96 6813.09 Clinton II........ 01/30/98 8072.16 7391.59 7906.50 09/30/98 8253.79 7450.24 7842.62

3,338. to 8,253. = about 245% (so far) for those terrible, terrible, terrible Clinton years (only 6 of them, by the way)

Yes you holders of 401Ks, variable annuities, pensions based on the DOW, etc. Starr, Gingrich, Lott, et. al. are coming to get you. And there is a lot more to get after Bill Clinton reduced the deficit, etc., etc., etc.,

And, Newt, are you still talking about building bilions of dollars worth of transport planes in Georgia that the armed services don't want? Shame on you Georgians for sending Newt back to DC (If you do!) to perform that kind of "bad conduct".

I have had a couple of requests for the list of Congressmen who voted on "Motion to table the Resolution on the Impeachment of Kenneth W. Starr":

This was first clue as to WHO "would" vote for authorizing "impeachment hearings" last week in the whole House.) It came on the Motion to Table the Resolution "Impeachment of Kenneth W. Starr".

If one of the (dumb) 125 Democrats who voted (yea), 'phone, snail mail, E-Mail or Mail-Gram them today! And, also, "bone" up on the voters in the whole house.

You have to hand it to Newt, he has all the Republicans under his finger. The "little pins all in a row" (215 of them). All you bowlers out there, have your bowling ball (votes) ready, send THEM back home not back to DC the first week of November.

They, also, should be contacted by phone, snail mail, E-Mail or Mail-Gram today!

Be ready to combat the "rough" campaign the Republicans will wage in these next 4 weeks. Be sure to be ready to focus on the positives YOUR Democratic candidate will propose. Be ready to counter the negative campaign the Reps will wage. (Assisted by the Cable people and many, many newspapers (Washing- ton Post excepted):

For instance in New York State we have Mr. Negative (sometimes known as Senator pot-hole) running.

He has "one" good idea. He wants to have "all" the teachers in the state take competancy tests. The good part of the idea would be if the Republican Senator took a competancy test!

We probably don't need to ask the first requirement the Republlicans want for candidates for office "Have you ever cheated on your spouse". Wow, would we have the evasions on that one. And, Ken Starr (with $45,000,000; 40+ special prosecutors and 3,000 FBI) wouldn't be around to "check" up on YOU.

For those of you who haven't been watching the votes in the House and Senate: ****************************************************************************

With all this going on, sometimes the real news gets lost:

9/23: Newt (and his sealed testimony at the Speaker's hearing which was never released) and Trent (who has just called on voters to defeat Democratic Senators who voted against over-riding Clinton's Veto on the abortion bill (By the way, Trent, why didn't you call on the voters to defeat the "Republican Senators" who voted against over-riding the veto?)) You would understand if voters voted "out" the Republicans who "did not" protect women's rights!!!!!!! Wouldn't you?
