Tips To Fix Or Remodel A Bathroom

For experienced home owners, they could tell a home's value from the quality of a bathroom, and the age of a home. Most of people can image their own glorious bathroom with cathadral ceiling, recession lights, and luxury decorations. Everybody is desiring a private sanctuary area where a busy person could escape.

In reality, however, many people could not afford a nice, spacious bathroom, and they have to share with a spouse, and even other family members. It is no surprise to find toothpaste globs at the bottom of the sink, crusty medicine cabinets, hair strangled combs, and collections of scummy shampoo bottles. Creating a comfortable, functional bath that accommodates two isn't as difficult as one might think. We provide tips such as for designing or remodeling a shared bathroom to make it work for all.

Double Sink. Installing two sinks is a simple way to keep the convenience, allow both people to brush their teeth while their partner shaves. For added comfort, install the sinks at different elevations to accommodate individual heights. No different color please when you do so. A nice counter top and mirrior may make you happy.

Adjust the fixtures. If installing two sinks is not an option, make sure the height of the fixtures is comfortable for both people. The distance and the location of the toilet and vanities are important, too. Many manufacturers now make sinks and toilets in various heights to meet the needs of different users.

Enhance the shower. For large shower stands, add a second showerhead opposite the original to transform a simple shower into a spa experience. A second showerhead adds more rejuvenating steam, if no mention a possible use for two at the same time.

Add some luxuries to make sharing easier and more comfortable. Install a whirlpool tub that is big enough for two, to enjoy alone or together. Add a built-in stereo with audio settings for CDs. If the original bathroom is small, an expansion may be considered for more space. If you have a basement underneath, a hot tub may be a good adds on.

If space allowed, you may consider a separate area for toilet, shower, tub, and even additional closet, for privacy and absolute relaxation.

Ventilation fan. It is important to set a ventilation fan, and set it in a good position accordingly. It is owful to open the window to exchange air each time.
