Tips for Writing Resume

What is resume, "Resume = RE-SU-ME", it is about "restate yourself to me", right? Resumes are what people use to get jobs, right? All your resumes will be the same, right?

As a matter of fact, all statements above are wrong. A resume is a one or two or three page summary of your education, skills, accomplishments, and experience. Your resume's purpose is to get your foot into the room. A resume does its job successfully if it does not exclude you from consideration. To prepare a successful resume, you need to know how to review, summarize, and present your experiences and achievements on one page. Unless you have considerable experience, you don't need two pages. Outline your achievements briefly and concisely. Your resume is your ticket to an interview where you can sell yourself! The shorter resume, the better.

Some people sent resume out to more than 100 job opennings, but still get nothing back. The worst thing is they send the same resume to each employer. They try to match themselves with other job applicants, instead of differing with others. I know one guy read one job description for more than 10 times, and thought about more than two days, then wrote a cover letter and a resume, in half page each. What he did was to make clear what he could do in the future. The employer said : "BULL COCK", but the interview was arranged, then he got the opportunity to let somebody know his education, skills, accomplishments, and experience, in a very much detail. When the employer said "BULL COCK" again, he was hired.

We heard about people saying "ONCE GET COMMUNICATED, ANYTHING COULD HAPPEN." My friend, prepare a creative resume, get communicated with the potential employer, offer them before they give you an offer, that is the key for a nice job.

Good luck!
